Alicia Harris
DVM
Dr. Harris graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2001. The following year she completed an emergency and critical care internship at the Animal Emergency Clinic in Glendale, WI. She gained additional emergency medical skills at renowned emergency referral centers including Angell Memorial Hospital and The Animal Medical Center. Furthermore, her studies were enriched at the Anti-cruelty Society in Chicago providing medical care for homeless pets and disadvantaged communities. Prior to joining Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Care, Dr. Harris worked at a large 24-hour referral hospital in the Chicago area. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys traveling, photography and exercising.
